Welcome to El Pilote!

We are a forming egalitarian intentional community in Peru. During our pilot phase, a group of up to 15 people are sharing a space together and working to develop a new model for communal living.

Who are we?

Our dream is to create an egalitarian intentional community of 100–150 people in Peru, inspired by existing communities in Latin America, the USA, and Europe.

We hope to learn from our experiences in other communities and to adapt the practices we've found valuable to the local context.

This year will be our pilot project, an income-sharing group house in town of Calca in Peru's Sacred Valley.

We'll work to minimise inequalities between our residents, fulfil our shared needs as human beings, work on personal processes together, and build a culture that regenerates our environment.
